Leak & Pipe Repair
A visible drip may come from a fitting, supply hose, seal, valve, fixture body, trap, joint, or pipe. Hidden moisture can require additional investigation before a repair is chosen.
What can affect the job.
Active leakage
If water is actively damaging property, shut off water only if you know the correct safe shutoff and can reach it safely.
Leak location
Moisture can travel along pipes, cabinets, framing, or finishes, so the wettest area may not be the actual source.
Pipe material
Copper, PEX, CPVC, PVC, galvanized steel, cast iron, and other materials require different repair methods.
Access
Concealed piping may require opening finishes or coordinating with another trade.
Inspection can change the scope
Visible symptoms are useful, but concealed piping, corrosion, previous modifications, inaccessible valves, damaged finishes, water intrusion, code requirements, manufacturer requirements, and related systems can affect what work is appropriate.

Wall repair, cabinetry, flooring, electrical work, mold remediation, structural repair, appliance repair, excavation, restoration, or other trades are not automatically included unless specifically offered and agreed.
