Compatibility
Connection size, mounting pattern, clearances, valve type, supply lines, drain arrangement, and manufacturer components can matter.
Condition
Corrosion, cracked materials, worn cartridges, damaged seals, mineral buildup, or loose mounting can affect whether repair is practical.
Access
Tight cabinets, pedestal sinks, built-ins, wall-mounted fixtures, and concealed valves can increase labor or require additional access.
Customer-supplied fixtures
The exact model, included parts, dimensions, installation instructions, and return policy should be checked before installation.
Inspection can change the scope
Visible symptoms are useful, but concealed piping, corrosion, previous modifications, inaccessible valves, damaged finishes, water intrusion, code requirements, manufacturer requirements, and related systems can affect what work is appropriate.
Related work may be separate
Wall repair, cabinetry, flooring, electrical work, mold remediation, structural repair, appliance repair, excavation, restoration, or other trades are not automatically included unless specifically offered and agreed.
